After over a year of office coffee announcements, it's past time to quit using email and get on with the blog version. That way, you PAL2 coffee drinkers (plus anyone else in the world who appreciates the corny, lame, plain, or occasionally clever announcements) can decide how to be notified--a newsfeed, instant email alerts, a widget, whatever. Tutorials to follow. Comments welcome.
(It's mostly Guatemala with a touch of Breakfast Blend to round it out.)

OK, all you PAL2 Outlook users. It's really easy for you to "subscribe" to the feed and have the posts show up in your email.
ReplyDelete1) Right click on the orange RSS Feeds folder in Outlook (below your Outbox).
2) Click on "Add a New RSS Feed..."
3) Paste in this link, which is the "Subscribe to: Posts (Atom)" link on the home page of the blog: http://coffeealerts.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default
Now the new posts will look like unread emails in that folder. You can even use the advanced options to have them delivered to your Inbox.
(Note that this is different from the "Subscribe by email" link, which is to be alerted to any new comments to a particular post.
